The Asterix arrives factory-finished with four wood species and four stain options. It’s designed to stand out rather than blend in, and the factory-finish process makes it faster and more predictable to specify. If you’re retrofitting an existing high-end home and want the elevator to become a focal point, the Asterix is typically the right fit.
Can the Asterix be installed in an existing home?
Yes. The 6-inch minimum pit depth and low headroom requirement are specifically designed to minimize structural disruption in homes that weren’t built around an elevator shaft.
