After lengthy negotiations, upon their retirement in 2014, Leo and Ann Hergenreder agreed to the acquisition of Ashley Elevator by Area Access Inc., the region’s leader in stairway lifts, residential elevators, commercial and residential accessibility lifts as well as personal mobility equipment.

With the acquisition of Ashley Elevator, Area Access Inc. is now adding our third full-equipped Virginia showroom, in Richmond, to provide more efficient sales consultation, customer service, equipment installation, service and periodic maintenance to our combined customer base in Virginia, DC, Maryland, Delaware, Northern North Carolina and The Outer Banks.
