What The ThyssenKrupp Access Closure Means For You
On August 22nd, we received the sad news that ThyssenKrupp Access will be closing down all operations by the end of 2012. This means not only the end of the TKA brand itself, but also the end of subsidiary manufacturers Access Industries and National Wheel-O-Vator. These brands have been an important part of our product offering throughout our history, and we are sorry to see them retired.
Current owners of TKA accessibility equipment can rest assured that Area Access is still here for you. Neither our commitment to service nor our expertise has changed with this announcement. We will continue to provide both service and compatible parts for TKA products as long as the last one continues to run.
For those considering the purchase of a new elevator or stair lifts, the TKA closure simply represents one less option to consider. We still have a profusion of excellent choices to offer you – notably, our fine selection of Symmetry brand elevators and wheelchair lifts. Created from decades of professional experience, Symmetry has taken up in innovation where pioneers like TKA left off.
To all the ThyssenKrupp Access employees who will soon be looking for new jobs, we send our best wishes. To you, our customers, we send the assurance that Area Access is here for you, and here to stay.
If you are in need of TKAccess Stairlift Parts or service please contact us. We have very limited parts but could help put you in the right direction.
